NICS Lab proudly participated in the U-MAkers of Science event, organized by the University of Malaga on 25 November, taking part in the session “U-MAkers Special: Trust and Privacy in the Digital Age: from the Internet of Things to AI” (more information available here).
During the session, Cristina Alcaraz presented the AIAS Project, highlighting its pivotal role in the rapidly evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence security.
Funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, AIAS was showcased as a pioneering initiative that explores the potential of AI to protect itself. The presentation emphasized the project’s advancements in developing defense mechanisms against adversarial AI, innovative deception techniques, and Explainable AI models, all driving forward the project’s dual vision: «AI for Cybersecurity» and «Cybersecurity for AI».
We extend our sincere thanks to the University of Malaga and the organizers of U-MAkers of Science for creating a space that fosters dialogue, collaboration, and innovation.
