The AIAS project participated in the 2nd Automation & Robotics Expo (A+R Expo 2026), held from 25 to 27 April 2026 at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens, Greece.
During the event’s Industrial Day, AIAS had the opportunity to present its vision and ongoing activities to representatives from industry, academia, research organisations, and the wider technology community.
The participation highlighted the project’s work on developing an AI-assisted cybersecurity platform that empowers SMEs to defend against cyberattacks and adversarial threats targeting AI systems. It also provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, explore potential synergies, and discuss the growing importance of trustworthy, explainable, and resilient AI in increasingly automated and interconnected industrial environments.
The A+R Expo brought together companies, researchers, technology providers, and innovators working across automation, robotics, Artificial Intelligence, industrial systems, electronics, and emerging digital technologies. AIAS was pleased to contribute to this dynamic environment and to promote its approach combining “AI for Cybersecurity” and “Cybersecurity for AI.”
Participation in events such as the A+R Expo strengthens AIAS’s connection with the industrial and research communities and supports the dissemination and future uptake of its research outcomes.
