AIAS Participates in the 2nd Hellenic University Hack – UniHack 2025

The AIAS project participated in the 2nd Hellenic University Hack (UniHack 2025), held on 13 December 2025. UniHack is a nationwide Capture the Flag (CTF) cybersecurity competition that brings together university students from across Greece to test their technical knowledge, collaborate in teams, and further develop their digital and cybersecurity skills.

The 2025 edition attracted an impressive 358 students from 16 Greek universities, forming 103 teams and demonstrating the growing interest of the academic community in practical cybersecurity education.

Throughout the competition, participants tackled a variety of cybersecurity challenges requiring technical expertise, analytical thinking, creativity, and effective teamwork. The event also gave students the opportunity to connect with peers who share similar interests and become more familiar with university-led cybersecurity initiatives.

AIAS’s participation reflects the project’s commitment to supporting cybersecurity education, strengthening collaboration between research and academia, and encouraging the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. Initiatives such as UniHack complement the project’s mission to promote secure, trustworthy, and resilient digital technologies while raising awareness of emerging threats affecting both traditional information systems and Artificial Intelligence.

The Hellenic University Hack is organised by the Hellenic Cybersecurity Team, in collaboration with university teams and volunteers from across Greece.
