On September 26, 2025, the Universidad de Málaga (UMA) proudly participated in the Noche Europea de los Investigadores 2025 – a major public event celebrating science and innovation across Europe.
During the event, UMA researchers presented the AIAS Project and visitors had the opportunity to learn how AIAS is developing cutting-edge technologies that combine AI for Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity for AI.
Specifically, AIAS focuses on:
- 🧠 Developing adversarial AI defence mechanisms
- 🕵️♀️ Employing deception techniques to anticipate and counter attacks
- 🔍 Applying explainable AI (XAI) models to empower security teams
Through these approaches, AIAS aims to ensure the robustness, trustworthiness, and transparency of AI-based operations across organisations.
The event offered a wonderful opportunity to engage with the public, exchange ideas, and share the project’s mission of building secure and reliable AI systems.
