We’re excited to welcome Ignacio Lacalle Úbeda from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), who started his secondment at CNIT on July 7, 2025.Ignacio will be contributing to both Work Package 3 (AIAS Adversarial AI Engine and Deception) and Work Package 4 (AIAS AI-driven Detection and Mitigation), with a primary focus on WP4. WP3 explores innovative adversarial techniques and deception mechanisms to proactively challenge and test the robustness of AI systems. WP4 builds upon this by developing advanced detection and mitigation strategies, enabling AI systems to identify, respond to, and recover from adversarial threats in real-time. Ignacio’s expertise will be key in advancing these critical components of the AIAS platform. Welcome to the team, Ignacio!
