AIAS at the Hellenic Cyber Security Institute Workshop

During June 2024, the Hellenic Cyber Security Institute organized a high-level workshop focusing on the evolving EU regulatory framework for cybersecurity. The event covered crucial topics, including the NIS2 Directive, the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), and emerging AI-driven cyber threats.

The workshop gathered key stakeholders, including representatives from ENISA, the Hellenic Cybersecurity Authority, the Ministry of Digital Governance and over 100 experts from Greek and international organizations. Discussions addressed the evolution of cyber threats, incident response strategies, and the increasing regulatory obligations for cybersecurity across industries.

AIAS actively participated in the discussions, highlighting the role of AI security within the context of the AI Act and its impact on cybersecurity frameworks. Our research on adversarial AI threats, deception mechanisms, and explainable AI solutions aligns with the regulatory landscape, ensuring that AI-powered security solutions comply with EU standards.

As regulations such as NIS2 and DORA reshape the cybersecurity landscape, AIAS remains committed to advancing research, engaging with policy discussions, and developing innovative AI-driven defense mechanisms.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to contribute to the future of AI security and regulatory compliance.
